Who this is for

This policy explains how Parea handles information from public visitors, venue account users and admins. Parea is used to show local events, offers and plans in Alexandroupoli.

Information we collect

When you browse the public site, we may collect basic technical information such as pages viewed, event views, share actions, reactions, device/browser details and server logs.

When a venue creates an account or submits a listing, we collect the email address, Firebase user ID, place name, listing details, images, links, review notes and account status.

If you contact us by email or Instagram, we receive the details you choose to send.

How we use information

We use information to run the website, show listings, remember reactions, reduce duplicate reactions, review venue submissions, reply to messages, protect the site and show venues simple performance stats.

Cookies and local storage

Parea uses cookies or local storage to remember basic choices, such as whether a visitor has reacted to an event. If you block or clear cookies, Parea may forget those choices and the buttons may look unselected again.

Analytics for listings

We show venues simple listing stats, such as views, shares and reactions. These stats are designed to show how a listing is performing, not to identify individual visitors.

Firebase login

Venue and admin login uses Firebase Authentication. Firebase is provided by Google and helps verify account emails and passwords so users can be sent to the right dashboard.

Who we share information with

We do not sell personal data. We may use trusted service providers to host the site, store the database, process login, send email, provide payment tools in the future, or help maintain the service. We may also share information if required by law or needed to protect the site and its users.

How long we keep information

We keep venue account and listing information while it is needed to run the account, keep records, resolve issues and protect the service. Public listing analytics may be kept in summary form so venues can understand past performance.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you. You can also ask us to restrict or object to certain uses where the law gives you that right. If you are unhappy with how personal data is handled, you can contact your local data protection authority.

Security

We use reasonable steps to protect accounts and data, but no website can promise perfect security. Please use a strong password and keep your login details private.

Children

Parea is not aimed at children under 13. Some listed events may have age restrictions set by the venue or organiser.
